Angela graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2004. She has professional experience working alongside chiropractors, in the spa environment and providing in home massage therapy services. Angela has always been interested in the sciences; specifically anatomy/physiology and learning how the body moves. This passion made massage therapy a natural fit for her.

Angela enjoys providing massage for relaxation as well as specific treatment to improve mobility and decrease pain. Maria graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2014 from the School of Medical Rehabilitation with a Masters degree in physiotherapy. Since graduating she has completed her acupuncture certification, Level 2 manual therapy certificate and several other courses in manual therapy, soft tissue massage and exercise prescription. Maria feels passionately about accessibility to care for all individuals and has gained significant experience early in her career working with seniors and accommodating individuals requiring in-home treatment.

Her background includes 7 years of private practice and as an in-home physiotherapist, which has provided her with valuable experience working with diverse populations and conditions. She enjoys treating a variety of injuries and conditions, but has a particular interest in conditions of the pelvis, hip and knee. She utilizes an active approach to treatment through education, hands-on techniques and exercise programming that is customized for each client with their specific treatment goals in mind. She seeks to assist individuals find their best path to recovery, manage their pain and return to the activities that make life fulfilling; whether that is spending time with loved ones, the ability to do tasks independently or returning to sport. 

Her athletic background in competitive basketball along with her passion for client-centered care is what drew Maria to the physiotherapy profession. Julie graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2016 from the School of Medical Rehabilitation with a Masters degree in physiotherapy. Upon graduating, she worked out in Souris and Hamiota providing services in hospitals, personal care homes, and doing home visits. Moving back to Winnipeg, she has since been working in private practice. 

Throughout her various work experiences, she’s learned how much she enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Julie is very passionate about continuing her education completing her Acupuncture certification, Orthopedic Manual Therapy Levels 1 & 2, Selective Functional Movement Assessments Levels 1 & 2, Lyn Watson Shoulder Course, and other various courses on treating the TMJ, gait assessments and interventions. She strongly believes in a multimodal approach, focusing on using education, manual therapy, and exercise programming to help her patients reach their treatment goals. 

Julie has always enjoyed playing a variety of sports growing up, but found running to be a passion of hers completing various half marathons and a full marathon. In her spare time, you can catch her spending quality time with her husband and cat, Pumpkin, family and friends, playing dodgeball, weight training, and planning what her next travel destination will be.

Mona was born and raised here in Winnipeg. Her family worked hard to move to Canada from Iran to pursue their academic ambitions. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Athletic Therapy and registered with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA).  

Mona chose this field as she has a passion for living an active lifestyle. Growing up, she was actively involved in soccer, track and field, the gym, hot yoga, and rollerblading. As an athletic therapist she places emphasis on prevention because many individuals wait until they have a problem to seek therapy. Being active has countless health benefits in your daily life, and Mona enjoys sharing her knowledge on how to live a healthier lifestyle and developing sustainable and enjoyable habits.

Mona specializes in injury assessment, prevention, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. The ultimate goals of her sessions are to help patients return to their usual activity, whether that means running a marathon or going for a walk in the morning to the mailbox.

Some common injuries she encounters and treats include, tendinitis, tendinosis, tenosynovitis, sacroiliac dysfunction, TMJ dysfunction, low back pain, ligament sprains, muscle strains, and various post-surgical related injuries.
